Job description: Cert III in Mechanical fitting and first class machining.
TECHMECH specializes in on-site machining in the Perth metro area, mainly in the following suburbs: Kewdale, Welshpool, Forrestfield and Guildford with potential onsite work.
Carrying out line boring in the following sectors; mining, oil and gas, power stations, civil works and agriculture.
The successful applicant will work in a team and do individual jobs as required. They will need to be well presented, honest and reliable.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
- Measuring and setting up specific jobs
- Machining to strict tolerances
- Welding (Mig/Stick) Use of robot welders
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Finishing each job to an extremely high standard
- Efficiency
- Excellent work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work individually or in a team
- High level of initiative
Required:
- Current driver’s license
I am chasing a keen young worker willing to learn with good communication skills. Working 10-hour days with optional overtime and potential to be sent up north on the mines if interested. Good pay rate and will be put through required training.
