ALCOA 2025 Apprenticeship Program

Alcoa has launched their Apprenticeship recruitment campaign for the 2025 Intake, accepting applications now until COB, Wednesday 17 July 2024 – aimed at providing secondary students, who have completed a minimum of year 10, an opportunity to develop a diverse range of skills through our four-year structured practical and theoretical program that will lead to a nationally recognised trade certificate.

Multiple apprenticeship opportunities are available across the WA Alumina and Bauxite operations located at two refineries (Pinjarra & Wagerup), and bauxite mine sites (Huntly & Willowdale).
Successful applicants will start in January 2025 and at the end of the four years, will earn a nationally recognised trade certificate. Opportunities exist in the following disciplines:

• Mechanical Fitter
• Light Vehicle Mechanic
• Fabricator / Welder
• Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic
• Electrical Instrumentation Technician
